Our Story
Swankiri began with a piece of land we loved and wanted to share. The name pairs swan — the graceful bird that glides across our lake and leads guests to our entrance — with kiri, the Thai word for mountain, a nod to the hills that surround us. What started as a private retreat has become a destination where visitors from around the world come to enjoy the beauty of Pong Yaeng.
Over the years, we have shaped the resort around the land that was already here. The waterfall was adjusted to flow all year, the lake was made deeper for swan and boat activities, and the rice fields were kept alive through seasonal planting. Every element — from the Swiss-cottage-style Swan Club to the private terraces of our Villa — was designed to help you slow down and take it all in.
